Subject: Anybody Install the Millen Short Shifter?

has anyone installed the Millen Short Shifter unit?
(for those that don't know, this is a replacement shift lever
unit that reduces the fore-aft shift throw distance by about
an inch)

if so:
how easy was it to install? (it _looks_ easy...)
once installed, how does the overall shifter _height_ compare
with the stock unit (taller? shorter? the same?)
how do you like it?

any and all other comments appreciated...
