Hello miata peoples I was wondering if there is a simple way of making the lights in the miata automatically shut off when the key is removed? I know that saabs have done this/still do? On volkswagons all you need to do is move a relay WRT alarms. I am currently looking at the alpine 84?? because it has a "quiet" chip, and a microwave intrusion detector. I am not sure how it works, but in the saleslime's miata if you put you hand in the window the alarm goes off. He says that it also works w/ the top down or the hard top. Does anybody have anything good/bad to say about them? One bad thing is the price ($325) and you cannot buy it and install it yourself. So if anyone knows of a place in the Seattle area that would do high quality instalation that would be helpful too. I have seen too many alarms w/ an inline fuse next to the battery to count. When I install an alarm I integrate it into the factory wiring harness if possible thanks stuart galt boeing computer services sag5004@yak.boeing.com bellvue washington (206) 865-3764 or home (206) 361-0190 '93 White "C" w/~800 miles (zooom)
