Re: dealers web's. When I mentioned to my dealer about the brake fluid leak in my car and that I wanted the paint repaired, the service writer said that Mazda's part caused the damage and I would have to talk to Mazda about having the damage fixed! OK, isn't the dealer a representative of the auto maker? Does this mean that every time I want to have Mazda's car fixed I should call Irvine and request that a rep be sent out just to fix my car? I'm still shaking my head and trying to figure out that one! Aren't car dealers wonderful places to find some good laughs!? ;-) -amp- ________________________________________________________________________ The Rx-7 Club I used to belong to made a trip out to the distribution center south of Dallas. One of the dealers showed up also. This was back when buying an RX-7 meant paying "EXTRA" for ADM. We were grilling the dealer and the Mazda person on this point. Well, the dealer is just a authorized distributor and repair facility for your Mazda. The dealer can charge whatever he wants for a car despite any wishes Mazda has on keeping the car at sug. retail. Any repair outside the specific warranty is either paid by you, or at Mazda's expense. The dealer doesn't have to be involved. Kris Eckols '92 Miata Sunburst Yellow.....It's Spring again!
