This is my own take on extended warranties. (My opinions! Mine! Get your
own! :-{)

They aren't worth what they cost, *if* you maintain your car properly.
Given proper maintenance, even a car driven hard will go 100k or more
miiles without needing a repair that would be covered under an extended
warranty. If you don't maintain the car, the warranty is void. Pretty
simple, isn't it?
