There was a similar blurb with some sketches were similar to what you describe
in a Popular Mechanix back around Jan or Feb 1990.  Also to be destined for the
Japanese market, extremely low volume, relatively high price.  Nice to know 
they're still considering it.  I wonder if it'll ever happen, even in Japan?
