Are you talking about the "track bar" thing or a sway bar?  Either way, I don't
know of anyone who's put one on.  All of the Miata owners I know either wanted
the look (so they don't really care how it handles) or they autocross.

Yes, instantly into Street Prepared.  Either a bigger sway bar or the "track 
bar" would do this, as they were not original equipment on your model year.  I
don't have the rulebook with me or I'd quote chapter & verse.  Too bad, because
the rear end of the chassis could really use some more rigidity.
