I was at an auto show and told the Mazda rep. that I thought the new Mazda
symbol on the front of the car was ugly.  he told me that you can order
a Miata without the symbol.  Not that the dealer would remove it, but that
Mazda would not put it on.  He said the same is true for the RX-7, and
that most RX-7's are ordered that way.

Anybody else hear this?  Anybody looking for a '93 Miata willing to
ask his/her dealer, and let the rest of us know if this is true?

I hope that Mazda's learned, and will remove it again for '94.
