800 miles in 2 weeks?  You don't drive very much, do you.  I put almost that
much on every week!  I do about 3000 miles every 4 to 5 weeks.

Mine is a '90 and at the time, there was only a single $35 Factory Service
Manual.  It was a bound soft cover book - not looseleaf.  Anyway, it has
sufficient information to perform just about any job on the car provided 
you have a bit of mechanical inclination.  It isn't a step-by-step-for-dummies
book.  I don't have a clue what the '93 manuals contain.

Personally, if I had it to do over again, I would bag the alarm.  All they
do is annoy people.  No one *ever* pays attention to them.  What I would do 
is save the money.
