not necessary, obviously they are senseless already...
BTW, isn't disconnecting the odometer and not reporting it
a _federal_ crime?

well, on the plus side, i doubt most dealers/salespeople ever
disconnect the odometers these days.  too much trouble/risk.
they have other (legal) ways to rob the buying public... :-)

as for those who bought Miatas on speculation to sell at inflated
prices, they're no friends of mine, but on the other hand, the
buying public didn't HAVE to pay extra if they didn't want to.
and if it's any comfort, a lot of these folks got burned when
Miatas started becoming plentiful...
