Basically, that means nothing. It could be made of tin foil and still be legal. So ignore that quote and compare the different street bars on material quality, if it allows the top to go up, etc. Note that a real roll bar (ie., one that would be legal for SCCA racing or Solo I), cannot be made for the Miata that will allow the top to go up.
