not yet.
my wife and i both have miatas, mine is 3 yrs old, hers is 2 yrs old,
both zippers are fine.  mine is a getting a little worn but i'm very
careful, and so far, so good.

one tip is: don't use the zipper handle to help "pull up" the
rear window from the shelf when you're zipping things up; that is,
support the window or hold the top border with your hand as you pull,
so that all the zipper does is ride along the track without any extra
tension from the weight of the window.
