If I wasn't apologetic enough about admitting I temporarily disconnected
the odometer... then I'll express that now.  I put an estimated 50 or so
miles on before, frankly, guilt made me put it back together.  It was a
bogus maneuver.  I was an asshole.  I'm recovering now.  Since some sub-
scribers threw stones   Scratch that. sorry.  I apologize now to loyal
Miataphiles and car people.  I didn't mean to insult honesty.

No apology for reselling a car at a mark-up, though.  Heck, STICKER PRICE
is a mark-up.  So is "dealer invoice".  It's all relative.  Those who pay
a premium yet feel screwed, well they are foolish.  Nice material things
in a capitalist society will never be just given away, even to those who
may have a deep appreciation.
