There's been lots of talk recently about replacing tire, mostly
for autox or racing.

What's a good STREET tire?  My '90 (A pkg, LSD, white) came with 
Dunlop SP Sport D89's, standard 185X60R14 size.  They're starting to go
at about 36K miles.

What else is good?  I'm partial to Michelins, I've had real
good luck with performance and durability on a variety of their
models.  Any thoughts on them?

I can get Dunlop D40's for about $61 US here.  Are they OK?
