I haven't noticed this either;  I'll look as well.  What I have noticed is 
every so often, small strips of rubber trim and/or foam bits falling out from 
the inside of the top.  I find them from time to time on the floor or inside 
on the rear deck when I'm cleaning the interior.  They look like entire (but 
small) rubber trim pieces (they aren't torn or ragged) and grey, rectangular 
foam blocks, about an inch or two long.  I can't figure out where they go or 
even if they're important.  But then I haven't really tried very hard.  I hear 
the top is not supposed to last a long time  anyway, but maybe I should be 
concerned.  Anybody know where these little bits are supposed to go or what 
they do?
