I've got a whole handful of these little grey foam blocks.  They've been appearing on
the deck, on the floor, on the seats since the car was about a month old.  I've never
seen where they come from, and I haven't noticed any wierdness in the top.  I'll look
for the cracks as well, but I spent most of last weekend cleaning and treating the top
and I didn't see any.
