My wife had her car parked on the street, where it was hit by a GEICO insured driver. GEICO refused to pay the claim, and promptly canceled him. If your wife had hit somebody, it'd probably be a different story. On the subject of insurance rates, I drive a 77 dodge colt most of the time, with the Miata being a second car. I pay about 250 every six months for Liability on the colt, and only about 360 for comprehensive on the Miata. When I was living in Dallas (where I bought the Miata), the two ammounts were even closer together. Of course, the ave. price of the cars I could hit around north Dallas was probably >$60k, and so the liability was higher. Steve
