I had a somewhat different experience with Liberty Mutual.
They treated Miata just as a regular car. I am paying about
the same amount for the '93 Miata and a '93 626. They are
also about the same as my previous car, a '90 Integra.

My guess is that Liberty Mutual calculated it based on the 
car price which are all in the 15-16K range, unless the car is
capable of doing 0-60 in 6 seconds. :)
