Heat shield recall?  I recently had mine replaced, because it was cracked and
making a real racket.  What is the recall for, and what age Miatas does it
apply to?  I had to pay for mine.

Incidentally, the dealer warned me that they might break the catalytic 
converter in doing the work and checked that I really wanted to proceed.  
Sure enough, the bolts sheared, but the dealer discovered there was a longer 
warranty on the cat, so I got a new one for free.  Seemed like a good deal, 
really.
