It would probably fill up the trunk of my > (newly purchased white '91) Miata. my assumption is that the bulk isn't a big issue for home and work commuting, unless you tend to carry lots of stuff around. when you need to carry more, or are going on a trip, you can always leave it at home. you'll still get most of the benefits even if you only use it 80-90% time. as for the el cheapo car covers, check that the material doesn't scratch your paint finish. and in general, be careful about letting your car get dusty/dirty (you wouldn't do that, would you?!) - since putting on a car cover would get scrape the dust/dirt against the surface of the car. as far as antennas go, the little rubber antennas probably aren't much of a problem. if you stick with the stock one, cutting a hole for it (as someone else suggested) seems like a good idea.
