On catalytic converters, > this warranty covers the casing, the heat shield, and the substrate. not to be picky, but i assume this warranty differentiates between cases where the cat breaks by itself and cases where some Bozo with a wrench damages it by not treating it properly? i grant that the service dept. might have some obligation to replace it for free, but more because they broke it rather than due to any warranty...
