Subject: Rattling from front half of car ...

In reference to a message regarding "a rattling coming from somewhere
in the fron half of the car..when reducing pressure on the accelerator",
this are the exact symptoms I described a few months ago (see
3500 RPM rattle).  I took my 92 Miata to a dealer who replaced
the exhaust system which reduced the sound.  Unfortunately the rattling returned.

Somebody recommended that I should check the bolts on the exhaust joint
near the oil filter.  I plan to do it this week.  I'll keep you posted.
