This probably is an old issue you guys/gals talked about already, but ...
Would the palstic part which gives the small storage space under the stock
radio in 93 models, fit the space in place of the faceplate in 91 model?
The dealer said that someone tried it already and didn't work.  I would
love to have the room for my sunglasses.

I bought one of those storage boxes to hold my garage door
opener in my '91.  It is fairly easy to install, although
you must remove the entire console, and it fits fairly well.
I did need to enlarge one of the screw holes to make it fit,
but that was easily done and I'm now enjoying the convenient
space.
