I've recently added Racing Beat adjustable end-links to my Millen rear sway bar. I'm happy with the results, but still left with a question on how to change the attachment point on the sway bar. The end link naturally connects to the middle hole on the sway bar end. Due to the bottom bracket, the link can't swing fore and aft. This appears to prevent me from attaching to either of the other two holes in the sway bar end. The only way I can see to deal with this is to swing the sway bar in it's mounts to accomplish the adjustment. This would seem to require a huge amount of length adjustment in the end links, possibly requiring me to saw some material off of the end link studs. Is it a matter of bending the axle bracket? Maybe a picture will help cloud the issue: <- Front of car __ -----/ - ----__________ ( O ( <> ) O ___________ Rear sway bar -----__/------ == __-- || --__ <- || -> No fore/aft adjustment possible due to axle bracket || == -- Adjustable link / || || |__/| | | Axle bracket ------ Any thoughts appreciated! jdm _ / Jeff Maurer, Sr. Analyst _ ___/ _ __ Service Applications, Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. / / / / / / Uucp: ...!uunet!sequent!jdm / /__/_/ / Internet: jdm@sequent.com __/ (503) 578-5062 "It takes a big man to cry, but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man."
