I have the same thing, and it works fine now, but be careful, the mounting instructions truly suck. I would have done much better if I had realized from the start that I should just ignore their badly xeroxed illustrations from the start. The best part is that one section said "attach it with the provided screw to the existing hole. But if the hole is too big, drill a new one next to it." The hole in question is in the stamped sheet metal of the inside of the trunk. Why do I find it hard to believe that there's *any* variation in the size of this hole, and that they knew it wasn't going to fit? Anyway, while doing this I managed to apply a little too much pressure to my drill, and slightly dinged the trunk from the inside. Joy. And then a few days after I had installed it, it worked itself loose, and would dangle in such a way that it was turned on even when the trunk was closed. So then I attached it with some double-sided super-sticky foam, and it has held for almost a year now. -- Jamie
