Love it. :-) So... did you and your beloved change clothes before leaving, or did she have to cram her entire gown into the Miata's diminutive passenger footspace? I'm still single (otherwise, I probably wouldn't be driving a Miata :-), but I have my share of problems-- like the date who freaks when you drive top-down during a light rain. It doesn't matter that she's not getting wet (usually, depending on the hairdo); it's the principle of the thing. I live in Central Florida, where this time of year, short violent storms can (and usually do) come at a moment's notice. Usually it rains really hard just long enough for me to pull over, put the top up, roll up the windows, and zip up the rear window-- soaking the interior (and me) in the process. Then it quits and the sun comes right back out, turning the black (wet) interior enclosed by a black vinyl top into a tropical steam bath. At this point, I either (a) leave the top up and turn on the A/C to dry things out, thus turning my classy, powerful roadster into a slow, sluggish (but sporty-looking) econo-box, or (b) put the top back down to let the sun take care of things, often starting the entire process over again if Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. At least I don't live in the snow belt. :-) Regards, Steve '93 Classic Red "A"
