I would have got ABS if I could for this.  I've been in a situation
where I stopped hard and skidded 90 degrees (ended up at a perfect
right angle to the freeway, right in front of a cop).  Happily I did
no damage, but it's not something I'd care to repeat.  $800 or
whatever isn't that much to pay.  Hell, I'm going to pay more than
that to upgrade the audio.

It's a great way to take a trip in your Miata without putting any wear
on the car.  And the money you save in gas can easily pay for the LSD. :-)
