I just spent months shopping, and there is no such thing for sale now as a 93 'B' with ABS, regardless of what the sales brochure says. The only way to get ABS is with a 'C' (where it is not common), or with a 'LE', where it is stock. Since the 'C's with ABS are (tend to be) loaded, if all you want is ABS, it will really cost you: $1400 ($2700 'C' minus $1300 'A') 700 the radio (tough to find ABS without this option) 800 ABS ----- $3000 Considering: -- ABS is complex enough to break once, and very expensive to fix, and -- ABS turns a simple, do-it-yourself $40 pad job into a $200 mechanic's job ABS might well add $3000 to the lifetime cost of the car. Pretty heavy. I really wanted ABS, but not for that price. By the way, the stock brakes are great, im my opinion. As the car gets heavier from model year to model year (don't they always?), perhaps ABS will become more common. --bruce
