Presumably they use it to maximize braking efficiency when entering corners, so they can brake just that little bit later, with no chance of a wheel locking. They use it regularly, not just in emergency situations. This leads to one concern I've heard about ABS (in everyday, not racing, use): you can get used to relying on it, and then it's very easy to forget it's not there when you drive another (non-ABS) car... -- -- Paul Jasper -- RATIONAL -- Object-Oriented Products --
