Gordon,  I didn't have any serious problem with nuts and bolts
loosening.  In fact the car has been rattle free and solid for the past
4 years (almost, bought in Sept. 1989).  The only problems that I had
was the 3,500 RPM buzz which was due to the catalytic heat shield and
changed under warantee and a passengewr window rattle when the window
was fully up.  The dealer changed the window mechanism under warantee
and not it no longer rattles even on bumpy roads. Also, I have a
hardtop (which I hardly use but it came on the car and I bought it
for the winters in New York) which did not seal perfectly with the
windows and this was fixed.  Last, the early Miata's had a minor
problem with the trunk closing and this was also fixed under warantee.
Othrwise, the car has been just about perfect.

P.S.  I received 13 messages that certain files were being deleted
(these were previously sent). I never received that before.  Does anyone
(perhaps Andy) know what that means.
