I noticed the Deja Vu Postings too...... >Subj: Stealth Stereo Jeff Writes: >Here's an interseting project for everyone to think about, & get some >discussion going: >I've recently been considering installing a stereo, but I don't want it >visible - _AT ALL_. I've been brainstorming ways to do this. Dash should >look completely stock, and no antenna should show on the outside. Go with a trunk mounted AM/FM/CD changer. Seems like one should be available that doesn't require an in-car head unit. The only thing that might be a giveaway is if you needed to use some Velcro to keep the the in-car control from sliding around. The in-car controls for the unit when not in use would be store in the armrest compartment. I don't know where you could go stealth with a cassette player. A stealth antenna could be one that is mounted on a bracket that flips down inside the trunk.
