Thought I'd throw some of my ideas out there to keep people thinking: ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Fri, 16 Jul 1993 12:33:53 -0400 (EDT) From: Jeff CerierTo: "Kenneth J. Buck" Subject: Re: Stealth Stereo Kenneth: The 91 stock no-pkg-A dash had no stereo - just a plane piece of plastic above the storage bin. There's a black plastic plug where the antenna would be. It would be obvious to a thief that there's no stereo in this car. I've been thinking along the lines of a CD changer and an amp in the trunk, an antenna hidden maybe within a bumper, probably just a flexible wire of some kind, and a walkman of some sort that would plug in conveniently somewhere in the car. I would make wiring harnesses so that all the connections could be made with one connector. I've also wondered, though I haven't checked it out yet, if I can get a car AM/FM/cass. with a remote, mount the unit in the trunk, then keep the remote concealed. Loading only 1 tape at a time would be no problem for me. I usually don't have the heart to listen to the Sox lose, but I am an NPR (National Public Radio) addict on WBUR and/or WGBH. - Jeff
