Here's the latest from Rod Bymaster.

The hp and torque figures are in for the new engine.  However, Rod was
unwilling give me specifics.  He did say that, despite some increase in
weight, the weight-to-power ratio would improve by one or two.  For the
current car, this ratio is approximately 19.5.  Reducing it to 18.5 would
imply an increase of 10+ hp.  It does sound like the new car will be faster.

The R1 package will be an option only on the base model.  This will
include alloy wheels and the Torsen diff.  I forgot to ask about the
aero stuff.

All cars will be heavier.  As previously mentioned, dual air bags are
now standard.  The car will also benefit from additional chassis bracing.
The rear bar is smaller -- bad news for autocrossers.

The blue color will change -- deeper and metallic.

Press cars (and more specific data) will be available August 4 (or so).
