Alex, This sounds about like what is going on with my stereo. I think, though that this is somehow related to the humidity. Whenever it's rained heavily, or it is extremely humid (seems to be most of the time, these days), my stereo does exactly what you describe- the radio display comes on for a fraction of a second and then goes back to the clock. I've found that the radio will turn on once the engine temp warms up- also, turning on the heat or air-conditioning to the floor vents seems to speed up the process. I took this to the dealer here in Champaign, IL, and they said that there was really nothing that they could do with it short of shipping the radio somewhere out of state. My warrantee has run out, so I'm just waiting for some money to come around my way before I try to fix this nuisance... tom
