Two unrelated problems/questions: 1. I'm having some trouble with the seal between the soft top and the side windows leaking while driving through heavy rain. This is happening in two places: (a.) at the seal joint at about the center of the top edge of the window, where the top bends when it is lowered; and (b.) along the trailing edge of the window. In the latter case, the seal is broken whenever I'm driving faster than 40 m.p.h.; if it's raining, water droplets are blown in and hit me in the driver's seat! (The leaks mainly occur on the passenger side.) Has anyone had any similar experiences that have been repaired under warranty? I'd like to hear others' stories before I go to the dealer. Is it unreasonable to expect a convertible top not to leak, even when new? 2. I've never been able to be certain whether or not my engine oil is filled to the right level. It seems that oil does not adhere to the dipstick very well, and in some cases the raised letters in the safe zone seem to collect little bits of oil while the dipstick is being inserted/ removed. Has anyone else had this problem? My previous car ('91 Civic) had a very easy to read dipstick (and didn't use any oil, even during break-in); I'm a little worried about the safety of my engine now.
