Re: amp mounting.

I bought my miata used, and there are two veerry suspicious holes in
the floor under the drivers seat.  I'm assuming the previous owner had
an amp down there,  I can't quite decide whether the pullout unit that
came with the car was what s/he was amplifying, or whether it's a
cheapo that went into the spot the Denon/Blaupunkt/Nakmichi came out
of... It does hav ethe nice pre-amp outputs.

Under seat is probably where I'll put an amp, should I decide that new
speakers aren't enough :-), although the Clearwater/shield combo is
tempting too.  Speakers first, tho.

So far the recomendadtions have been: 2 x Clearwater, and 1 x Boston
Acoustics 767's.  Surely more than three if you have upgraded your
audio systems! :-)
