I got a ticket from a Md state trooper for not having the front plate on my RX-7 once, but that wuz because the trooper pulled me over wihtout having actually clocked me (had the gun mounted on the cruiser but apparently suffered momentary brain-fade) and had to come up with an excuse for the pull-over when she walked up to the car and I was pointedly looking at my radar detector. Who knows what she would have had to cook up if she hadn't had that bail-out bogus excuse for a ticket... I shudder to think. Haven't had the nerve to take the front plate off the Miata yet - I like to attract as little attention as possible (what with racing tires and all...). -Andy Andy Poling Internet: andy@jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu UNIX Systems Programmer Bitnet: ANDY@JHUNIX Homewood Academic Computing Voice: (410)516-8096 Johns Hopkins University UUCP: uunet!mimsy!aplcen!jhunix!andy
