i'm sure the salesperson was pulling fantasies out of thin air,
but since you only drive one miata at a time (wow, just think
about driving 3 stacked on top of each other! :-)
i think your windshield header only needs to support
the weight of one.

allegedly it does that job ok, but i'd prefer not to try
and find out.  even if it didn't bend at all, though,
it's only of limited use without an additional roll bar,
depending on how tall you are and how far you hang down when
the car is upside down.
personally, i just drive and don't worry about it...
