I just looked at my rear street tires (Yokohama AVS Intermediates) and they are down to about 1/32" above the wear bars. I kinda made a mistake and left these tires on the rear for 10,000 miles (they have about 28,000 total on them). I've rotated them to the front and put the much better front tires on the rear. However, my (very knowledgeable) local tire expert said that he thought Miatas wear the front tires more than the rears. Since I'd like to put off buying new tires for as long as possible (I just spent $500 for a new set of auto-x tires) I'd like to know other peoples experiences. Which wears the most, front, rear or are they equal? I should also point out that I'm running 1.1 degrees of negative camber in the rear and .8 in the front. --- ___ __ ___ Alan Dahl | alan.dahl@mccaw.com -or- /_ / / / Analysts International Co. | adahl@axysdev.krldwa.mccaw.com / / _/_ /___ 10655 N.E. 4th St. Suite 804 | (NeXTMail OK) Bellevue, WA 98004 | PH: (206) 828-1336 | FAX: (206) 828-1300
