From: kparker@kolohe.sim.es.com (Kevin Parker) Subject: Re: Ignition Timing, Tire Wear Date: Wed, 18 Aug 1993 11:17:14 -0400
My first set of tires (Original Bridgestones on my '90) only lasted about 25,000 miles, mainly because I did not rotate them in time. The front tires had quite a bit of tread while my rears were no longer legal. I rotated them after the fist 1000 miles and during the next 15,000 I drove the car hard and the rear tires REALLY wore a lot faster than the front. Anyone else experience this or am I sliding around corners too much ;-) In contrast, my new Dunlop D60 A2's have lasted 25,000 and have about 1/3 their tread left. (I have been rotating every 7000 on these and everything is wearing evenly.) Kevin Parker '90 Blue B pkg
