From: Rubin Johnson Subject: Tenex fasterners breaking... Date: Wed, 18 Aug 1993 18:19:18 -0400
Hello, I have a tonneau cover (Mazda made) that is less than a year old. One of the fasteners (Tenex) is stuck. These are the same fasteners which are part of the standard boot cover. Has anybody encountered this problem before? Fortunately the car/accessory is still under warrany. If this happens after the warranty expires, does anybody have a DIY solution to fix it? On a different note, I saw an ad for a Rod Millen hardboot for $150 (blue). E-mail privately if you want their phone number. (Los Angeles area). This replaces the softboot (if you actually use it). It has the two humps behind the seat. It looks good but it would force you to leave the seats exposed when you park. Later, Mark Buenafe orca@cerf.net
