Well, I'm thinking about upgrading my stereo (standard '92 A pkg--ie., no headrest speakers). I'm trying to decide between buying the spiff radio from the '93s (Mazda Super Sensory Sound System, or some such) and installing it myself (the problem parts would be getting the base speakers into the seats and the tweeters into the doors--any advice on how hard this will be?). Has anybody done this? What was the best price you could find on the parts? The alternative is going with a Clearwater setup. This has a couple of advantages, namely that it's easier to install and I can buy the pieces one at a time instead of all at once. If I do go with Clearwater, should I buy the door speakers first or the headrests? It seems odd to me that they recommend replacing speakers I already have before adding new speakers. On the other hand, my ears are about 3 inches above the headrests, so I may not be able to hear them anyway. Thanks. Ronnie '92 Sunburst Yellow
