There was a letter in the Winter 1992 issue of Miata Magazine
indicating that the After-market grill resulted in a significant
increase in engine temperature.  The writer wrote the letter to
highlight this point and complained that the sellers of the grill did
not note this although several now indicate in their advertisments
that air flow is only reduced by 25%.  This might be a significant
amount, however, on a hot day when you are driving fast or on a hot
day with the A/C on.
