Any ideas? Don't dismiss the wires just because they are only a few weeks old. My friend bought a brand-spanking-new Miata (just last month in fact) and one week later it was sputtering away as if on 3 cylinders or as if the timing had gone haywire with all they symptoms you described (the car had under 500 miles on it!). It happened catastrophically (running from normal to barely running at all the same day). In the end the dealer replaced the wires (with new blue NGKs) and all was well. The dealer also checked the gas (since bad gas and related damage is not covered under warranty) and the gas was fine. Eric Jacobs Internet: ej@silma.com SILMA Inc.
