There was a "Mega Monster Miata" in the Miata corral at the Pebble Beach Historic races in August and among its many nifty features it had low profile halogen lights that I was told are offered as an aftermarket accessory in Japan. These lights were way cool. The car wasn`t bad either. The car was a demo to promote a limited build (200) of a Miata fitted with a supercharged Mustang V-8, a domestic transmission, a T-bird rear-end, big disk brakes, wide fenders, and 9" wide tires. The demo/promo car was very nicely done. They were promoting a cost of $40k. I'd take one if I could, though it wouldn't/couldn't replace my red 1990 -Jim
