$4 a qt for Mobil 1 is enough to pay for oil.  I wouldn't buy anything
higher than that.

Change it every 3000mi because any oil gets dirty.  I use the mobil 1
because it is better for the car during the 3000 mi.  Less wear, flows
better at different temps.  Pour out a can of 10w30 oil and 10w30 mobil 1
on a cold winter day (not sure where you're located), and you will most
certainly see the difference.  You can also tell the difference when you
drain the hot oil.  Mobil 1 comes out as it went in, reg oil comes out
like water.  My feeling is that my engine will be happier in the long run.
 Can engines be happy?
