Are there any >obvious sources for these washers? I buy my filters at the dealer and they always make a point of it to ask me if I want the washer. In fact they tape one on the filter box. Minimal cost, a quarter or something. I bought my filter wrench at the dealer, much less than some of the mail order places are charging. Of course, now that I've used the Mazda wrench to remove the first filter that was screwed on "Hand tight" by Godzilla, I can remove the filter by hand. I got the plastic door sill scuff plates from MM Marketing. They are very easy to install. They are pretty close to matching the black plastic in the Miata. I figure at the lower price, I can buy another set when these get too scuffed up and still pay less than the stainless.
