However, I always converted UK gals to US gals by multiplying by 20/16, the ratio of the number of fluid ounces in the respective gallons. This would make 46.3 mp(UK)g equal to 37.04mp(US)g. Hey, we're getting closer....perhaps this is attainable at 56mph. Paul
