Converting with the ratio 20/16 introduces a small error because the
British fluid ounce is slightly smaller than the US one.  The British
fluid ounce is 1/20 of a British pint, which works out to about 28.4
millilitres.  The US fluid ounce is 1/16 of a US pint, about 29.6 ml.
