Subject: Aftermarket Exhaust Questions

I've bumped my timing up to 14deg BTDC (now using 89 octane), changed
the air intake to draw cool air from in front of the radiator (my own
design - not Jackson Racing), and put in a K&N air filter.  I suppose
it's time to switch to a more free-flowing exhaust.

Looking for an exhaust that will do two things:  give me a little more
power, and have a deeper/less buzzy exhaust sound.  Can you relate your
experience on any of the following systems?  Particularly:

	- your impression of the system's quality
	- how difficualt to install
	- sound of exhaust
	- resulting change in performance.

I've heard the Borla is a nice concept, but fit and quality leave
something to be desired.  The Walker Dynomax is attractive because of
the price.  I wonder if it's any good?  The "Ansa" & "Trust" exhausts
are advertised by the Performance Buyer's Club, but I don't know
anything about them.

What have you found out about aftermarket exhaust systems for the
Miata??
