I've bumped my timing up to 14deg BTDC (now using 89 octane), changed the air intake to draw cool air from in front of the radiator (my own design - not Jackson Racing), and put in a K&N air filter. I suppose it's time to switch to a more free-flowing exhaust. Looking for an exhaust that will do two things: give me a little more power, and have a deeper/less buzzy exhaust sound. Can you relate your experience on any of the following systems? Particularly: - your impression of the system's quality - how difficualt to install - sound of exhaust - resulting change in performance. ---------- HKS Borla Walker Dynomax Ansa Trust HP exhaust Others?? ---------- I've heard the Borla is a nice concept, but fit and quality leave something to be desired. The Walker Dynomax is attractive because of the price. I wonder if it's any good? The "Ansa" & "Trust" exhausts are advertised by the Performance Buyer's Club, but I don't know anything about them. What have you found out about aftermarket exhaust systems for the Miata??
