Subject: Exhaust Rattle - 3500 RPM

My '91 Miata has developed the rattle at 3500 RPM.  However, a dealer
took a look at it, and found the source to be the exhaust pipe behind
the header - NOT the catalytic converter.  The culprit in this case is
a heat shield on that pipe.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Anything I should know?
